MAC Pink Pigeon aka She's a Brick House.

<---not even a month ago, I blogged that it was becoming permanent...and to my house it came. I suppose I should update that family photo for real this time. Gorgeous matte hot pink, not as neon as Candy Yum-Yum and more fuchsia-based than Moxie(my eternal love, trumped only by Bombshell and Illamasqua Atomic). Fascinating stuff, I know.

Not a lot to report lately. Work is regular and classes end soon. I think I'm going to compose a little Giving Me Life Right Now list, for shits and giggles.

A. That goofy Commodores song, Brick House. It's from like 1978 or something, it's on our CD that corporate sends us to play--and I sing along and "dance," to the horror and shock of all who see. [EDIT: 1977, I was really damned close for someone who came around like ten years later.]

B. The Art Splash program at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I actually live in a suburb of New York, on the other side of the state, but luckily, Jersey is tiny as hell and getting to Philly and back in a day is entirely feasible and *fun.* I cant wait to see what else they're offering.

C. The Asian-fusion restaurant next to my workplace. They brought over a bunch of free food and labelled and packaged everything vegetarian from the food with meat, without anyone specifying that I'm a vegetarian. Love that extra step--and it was wonderful, too.

D. Our second anniversary celebration in two weeks. Cant wait for some pretzels and furniture shopping.

E. Whenever this comes out...I dislike Angelina Jolie(she looks like she might be mean in real life), but Maleficent has always been my favourite Disney character, even when I was a little girl. I cannot *WAIT* to buy all of this makeup. All of it! Also...the Lana Del Rey cover of "Once Upon a Dream." Tchaikovsky's best waltz with her voice, it's probably the most beautiful thing ever.
