<---can we just...? I was actually relieved this MAC x Maleficent collection was so tame; I seem to recall buying enough Vemomous Villains products to fund a semester at a decent state school. If I'm gonna pay for a state school, I will *go* to a state school, believe me. Anyway, this lipstick! Cute, definitely cute, but I bought it 100% for the packaging and I have no interest in necessarily wearing it. Regular Amplified finish red--I honestly didnt notice any particular yellow or blue undertones on me, and yellow tends to make me look sallow; maybe it was the finish, or the lack of specific brightness, but it looked all right: http://instagram.com/p/n8atX-C4l3/
On a separate note, I bought Flat Out Fabulous with it and I Flat Out Love It. Pretty cool-toned matte magenta/plummish and it didnt feel horribly dry, like Ruby Woo can. I've already worn it three times in ten days. it smelled more vanilla-y than any other MAC lipstick I've bought in my life, too. Thats not a complaint, just something I'd noticed...still very pretty, though.
So, we went to Lancaster for our anniversary! ::crickets:: No, I mean it. We looked at farms,, and went shopping(and I ate like nine pretzels in one weekend), and went on walks, and drank at micro-breweries. It was one of the cheapest options we could manage on a student budget, and A knew her way around, so off on a road trip we went. It was nice to get away and we enjoyed a little outlet shopping too--I bought a Viva Glam Holiday 2012 set, actually, but it was more for the fuchsia leopard bag than anything else. Also, I like that Ricky Martin lip balm a bit. I was happy to buy that and the first "dry cider" and "whoopie pies" of my life(I know!). It was so nice that we're seriously discussing a permanent relocation. Good stuff.
And since I'm off to watch a Mets game for a bit, I'll end this here...more soon! xoxo
