nars velvet matte gloss pencil in mexican rose aka jungle book.

<--my friend took me to neiman marcus last night just to be nice(my best friend is a sweetheart), and i bought this on a whim at the *very posh* nars counter. it's a really cute fuchsiaish-pink and i love it already. usually nars pencils cant go wrong for me.
i'll be honest--i havent had much of an interest in really doing anything lately. the mourning process is tedious but can be intense. i keep looking around, wondering where my boy is when i'm wandering my house and not sleeping at night, and walking my 5k-a-day alone was pretty brutal the first few days. not too hungry still and work is kind of somewhere i'm just going through the motions. everyone i know has been graphically supportive though, and i'm getting there. i hope.

a few nights ago when i wasnt sleeping, i watched the jungle book and felt an overwhelming compulsion to draw all the publicity stills WD released in the 60's when the movie came out. thank God for the internet, instead of lying in the dark wondering why i'm so heartbroken over a damned dog, i've been drawing cartoon bears and panthers. not quite ready to get back into the sign language project, but maybe later on this week i will.

seriously though...look at how cute this guy is(and yeahhhh, i looked it up on IMDB because i'm weird, clint howard did his voice. he's somehow in all of my favourite movies).
