Nars velvet matte lip pencil in belle de jour aka Easter.

<--i found out that a little cosmetics store close to where i work(like, less than a block away)sells NARS products and i bought a few pencils last week. for some reason, dragon girl has been catching my eye like a monster recently--i wore it for something like three days in a row. belle de jour is a lightish nude, bettina wears like a less plummy version of my true love, sex machine, on me and i just wanted damned because it sounded fun. i've become obsessed with NARS again, clearly...and yes, for those keeping track, i find it absolutely normal to spend $100 on LIP LINER PENCILS. I AM ON CRACK.

<--i had to swipe it from my instagram(which im sickly addicted to, even though my production quality reminds me of the stuff i developed in freshman photo class), but its a decent representation of how dragon girl wears on me. and how i'm in loooove with dragon girl, i guess.



in other news--Happy Easter! Easter is one of my favourite holidays because it has all of the things i like about Christmas(Catholicism, a few days off from work, some sort of elaborate dinner)without all the snow or my terror of picking out gifts for people. Lent is over, bags of skittles in undesirable colours are discounted, life is good. also...i always meet someone or start to like someone around Easter, without fail. it's a good thing this year. :)


we've been dog-sitting for my sister's boyfriend for the past few days. a daschund is NOTHING like a german shepherd but i'm honestly, pathetically, elated to have something in this house that runs to greet me when i come home. otherwise...i, pretty obviously, forgot about this blog because i just didnt feel like writing about anything. but the non-severe-winter-which-i-cant-blame-for-post-death-depression is over, the days are longer, it's baseball season--

--and i have no real reason to complain about much of anything. i did my taxes on my own(turbo tax)and i didnt screw it up too mercilessly, so im pretty happy about that, too. i wanted a dog to enjoy a beer with again, so i think i'm going to go do that--and be grateful for all the things i *do* have. <3
