illamasqua lipstick in sangers aka monday, monday.

<-Illamasqua is without a doubt one of the trickiest words i've ever had to spell(yeah, im not the worlds best speller). i've only started branching out from their nail polish shades in recent months(scorn is the greatest matte black of my *life*), and their stuff is seriously high quality. sangers is a nice, creamy true red and it feels really good on, too--though i prefer their glosses over both. pretty sure i'll become obsessed with this company really quickly, even though it took me thirty years after everyone else to really get into them. im absolutely making up for lost time.
monday, monday because this entire semester of the damned is OVER on monday and i cant wait(!!!!). i should be studying now, but i have a few days to review and i feel pretty confident, so i dont mind taking a little break. being serious about going back to school has seriously been the most painful good decision i've ever made. i, clearly, never considered myself a college person and to do something i dont like, but honestly have to do, on my own dime has been a really weird experience. the only saving grace has been being able to work around all of it and salvage some kind of income. i know a lot of other people in a worse situation who can't even say that.

enough babble. things that i like about the holidays, round one:
its goofy, but i like singing happy birthday to Jesus(even though the blessed arrival was most likely closer to springtime... weather-related logic isn't blasphemy), people are nicer to each other and that's beautiful, my parents' stevie wonder christmas record from the sixties(best everrrr), TIME OFF FROM WORK, (and now)TIME OFF FROM SCHOOL(again), making my doofy list of extravagant presents, holiday parties, it's the only time good eggnog and different flavoured candy canes are available, cards from people i havent seen in a while, ...TIME OFF FROM WORK, new year's kiss(even if im single, i always find somebody in time), winter clothes are pretty, embarrassing photos of my dog wearing antlers, and embarrassing photos of my drunk friends wearing antlers.
