Kat Von D Painted Love Lipstick in lovecraft aka "make a list!"

<---can you tell that i cut and pasted that entire looooong name? a bit more complicated than just "chapstick." whatever--i think we'll continue the theme of things i bought just for the name. i'm a big lovecraft fan(what? no way)and it turned out to be a nice color, kind of pinky-nude. i like kat von d...i think she's creative and im usually pretty interested in whatever she has going on at sephora. also, nikki sixx is dead-sexy. no kidding.


somehow i won scariest costume at a halloween party i'd attended...ok, so i was the only zombie, but still(i also got hit on by some creeper with a librarian fetish. apparently an intense librarian fetish, as i was frigging DEAD). this was one of my all-time favorite costumes. this is also *it*, this is totally what i need to do for the rest of my life. the designing and production, all of it...on a grander scale, since i made this all from stuff i had at home. i had to 86 the prom queen thing because my dress is too big...only in my life would that be something to lament. regardless, i had an amazing time creating this look. no kidding about that, either.

"make a list!" is in honour of the annual sephora holiday catalog arriving this AM and my mom thrusting it at me-why oh why would i use that phrase, "thrusting it at me"? in regards to my mother, of all people? what's wrong with me?!?!?-and encouraging me to make a christmas list of all the stuff i want her to buy for me. i don't know how to break it to her that i've paid my sister to make my christmas lists since i was 22 years old...regardless, i dog-eared a few pages. all to appease her, of course. there are two things i sort of want(three, i guess) but they arent from sephora. for your viewing pleasure:

that is the "swinging violets mineralize set" from MAC that i think is only at nordstrom. i like MAC...as you know...a lot. i honestly dont even know if i'll wait until the holidays and just buy it myself. fun fact: i've briefly dated a "swinger"(although i didnt know he was at the time). it was "briefly" because swinging isn't my scene...my datinng history is a story for another day. a funny story, too. ;)

now that we've mentioned it, i kind of want a viva glam gaga make up bag, too...

mmmm...MAC knows how to please me. holidays are excellent, presents or not. good times, good feelings, good stuff in general.


i realllllly want a turkey dinner today, but i can wait two weeks, i suppose. <3
