sensory overload week!

<-first things first: i went to the mall on wednesday night to get shin guards(wooeee, i'm like a twelve year old boy)and, naturally, strolled into sephora. i consider myself a pro at ignoring the people who try to pimp product on me-you can deny them and still be polite, it's easy-but there was some *admittedly cute* pamphlet going around about "kiss for a cause" that i thought was really special. they've been doing this for a few years and it's pretty great; i was happy to buy something. when my grandmother was reaching the end of a terminal illness, one of the things i'll actually always remember is putting lipstick on for her and telling her nasty jokes, right until the week before she passed. i'm not sure if many would consider that a very deep time of comfort and spiritual bonding, but it was, for both us. :)

it feels weird not being at camp with my little monsters. i complain about them but in reality, i love all of them...the end of summer is a bit of a downer. snyder's of hanover because i use snacks as collateral to get campers to behave--my family loves their pretzels(its actually kind of weird how much we love them...i personally have three different kinds on my shelf right now)and for the past few weeks i've brought in a bag of honey wheat, jalapeno pieces, and other exotic-ha-goodies to sample and review. the survey process is a lot of fun, actually...and i remembered *NOT* to include anything with tree nut/peanut ingredients. hahaha.

i kissed a prince. or he is to me. we'll see where this goes...<3

"which one's bethenny?" because there was some RHONJ commercial on when i was typing--and i really don't know which one's which(i think she's from new york, though). those ladies are all terrifying and i honestly appreciate the strong mafia overtones. i'm eager for halloween this year because of all the inevitable snooki/teresa/jwoww costumes that will no doubt look similar to what i wear without irony. God bless this crazy country.
