<--brooklyn is my ancestral home. <3 i wore this neutral lip color as a base today and it was the only thing that didn't smear or melt off terribly in the rain(more about that in a minute). i think i was wearing nars "success" over it, i was in hurry when i left today so i just grabbed whatever i needed.
1. i'm watching this old robert downey jr/ryan o'neal movie and it's really the best thing ever, i remember this from when i was like 9 and it was on VHS. RD jr's always going to be the sexiest creature alive. seriously, and he's insanely talented and charismatic so the world will always forgive him any wrongdoings. i wouldn't mind that kind of luck. mary stuary masterson looks like a boy in this movie...i don't like the clothes they chose for her. cybil looks amazing though.
2. so, my sister and i took a nice, casual trip to whole foods. i don't look like a tree hugger, but i actually do live mostly meat-free..i try to be dairy-free, too, even though i really like yogurt(surprising, isn't it?). they really have the best selection of produce and sandwich spreads. today i got these *huge* navel oranges and the best almond butter of my life. anyway, it was a ridiculous trip because we had record rainfalls today. like, three inches of rain in the last 24 hours. flooding isn't the word...and wind gusts put it mildly. we pretty much had to row home and won our own personal wet t-shirt contest.
i'm feeling okay, for whatever reason.
edit: that lipstick was "blonde venus", not "success." and i still had to order my M.A.C. viva gaga online like a doofus. but regardless, i'm doin' all right.
