<--this was the first NARS multipurpose product that i ever bought. i also recall that i rocked a *super dark* tan and those weird stripey highlights at the time too. that was all pretty terrifying but it's an amazing product...like cream blush but not as drying on the lips. the one i've used for the past year is called south beach, kinda peachy tan. love it, LOVE NARS so much.
the start of Lent is always a strange time for me because
1. i don't really like anything enough to consider it a hardship to avoid;
2. it always falls during my/my sister's birthday and i know not to give up drinking, but i feel bad in doing so; and
3. i fast on Ash Wednesday and get *insanely* cranky.
basically catholic guilt for 45ish days. i love my life, i mean it. :) last year i followed up Lent with a ridiculous relationship, i can't wait to see what i reward myself with this year. hopefully i have the sanity to get a goldfish or something instead of venturing towards love again. i hope i have the sanity.
it's my birthday on monday, which i care very little about. i'm depressingly disinterested in birthdays that don't end in a -5 or a -0, so 26 means almost nothing to me(considering where i was at 25 and who i celebrated it with, and then after him who i met and spent spring in love with...ugh). maybe 26 will be Zen and a time of great reflection and insight and/or uncomplicated sex. all of my people are irritated because i'm so bored of my birthday already, but i can't work up any enthusiasm this year. maybe when it's over i can, who knows.
